The water soaking my thirsty feet, the sweet smell of the sea calling out to me, and the serenity making me want to just pause time and stay there forever. Afterall a life on a beach shack does sound kinda perfect, doesn’t it? Here’s a list of 5 of the best beaches we wouldn’t mind setting up shop at.


Varca Beach, Goa

When someone mentions beach, this state is obviously a no-brainer. A highly underrated one, it is one of the cleanest, least populous, and calmest beaches in the state.


Varkala Beach, Kerala

A cliff beach, it has been named as one of the top 10 seasonal beaches in the world by Discovery Channel. Famous for its religious and touristic purposes, you can watch the fresh water spring at the beach from the cliff.


Arambol Beach, Goa

Ditch the Calangutes and the Bagas, and head to Arambol Beach in the northern bit of the state. Although not a well-kept secret, this beach is still a great place for all the water junkies out there.


Elephant Beach, Andaman and Nicobar Islands

One of the most popular places for water sports, Elephant beach is always buzzing with enthusiasts waiting to engage in some adventure activities. Be prepared to be spellbound by its beautiful marine life and rich coral reef structure.


Marari Beach, Kerala

Want to be one with nature? At Marari beach, you have no choice but to rediscover yourself. With the absence of anything unnatural, you are bound to get lost in the beauty of this scenic beach.
