1. Visit The Beaches
Phuket is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, such as Patong Beach, Kata Beach, and Karon Beach. Spend a day lounging on the sand, swimming in the ocean, or trying out water sports and not to forget the yummy Coconut Icecream and fresh juices that are available at almost every nook and corner.
2. Island Hopping
Phuket is surrounded by dozens of smaller islands, each with its own unique beauty. Book a day trip to visit islands like Phi Phi Island, James Bond Island, or Coral Island, where you can go snorkeling, scuba diving, or simply soak up the sun. Id recommend the Phi Phi Island day trip which covers Maya Bay, Monkey Island and a whole lot of beautiful islands around the area. (PS: if the sea is rough you might wanna be cautious in that speed boat)
3. Explore Old town Phuket
Take a stroll through Old Phuket Town, where you can see Portuguese architecture, colourful buildings, and historic landmarks, perfect for those Insta worthy pictures. You can also visit the Thai Hua Museum to learn about Phuket's rich history and culture. The best days to visit Old Town Phuket is on the weekend as they have an amazing night market only on Saturday and Sunday.
4. NightLife
Phuket has a vibrant nightlife scene, with plenty of bars, nightclubs, and restaurants to choose from. Head to Bangla Road in Patong Beach, which is known for its lively atmosphere and neon lights. The place is loud, full of street food, Thailands famous ladyboys and a whole lot of madness.
5. Visit the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong
The Big Buddha is a 45-meter-tall statue located on a hilltop overlooking Phuket. It's a popular tourists attraction and the views from the top are breathtaking as it over looks the town of Phuket.
Wat Chalong is the largest and most important temple in Phuket, and it's a must-visit for anyone interested in Thai culture and religion. Admire the intricate architecture and beautiful decorations, and learn about the temple's history and significance.
6. Take a Shower with the Elephants and even watch the famous snake show.
This was was truly one of my best experiences in Phuket. We came across this through our Tuk Tuk driver and didn't regret this one bit. For the best experience ask the local tour shops located on the streets of Phuket and they will show you around.
